Director of Product - AI-Powered Collaboration Tools

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Product to join our innovative team at Builder.io. This remote Director of Product position will allow you to shape the future of AI-powered collaboration tools, enabling teams to work more efficiently and effectively. As a key partner to our CEO, you will play a vital role in defining the product vision and strategy, ensuring that our platform meets the evolving needs of our customers.

What You'll Do

• Partner closely with the CEO to define and evolve the product vision and strategy in a fast-moving AI and developer tools landscape.
• Drive the product roadmap, balancing near-term customer needs with long-term differentiation.
• Own the day-to-day execution of the product strategy, keeping the roadmap sharp and current.
• Lead the product team, setting high standards for clarity, speed, and quality of execution.
• Drive product-led growth by optimizing levers that convert signups into active enterprise accounts.
• Translate customer insights and competitive intelligence into prioritized product features.
• Collaborate with Engineering to scope, sequence, and ship features while maintaining platform quality.
• Work with Design to ensure the product experience is intuitive and reinforces Builder.io’s market position.
• Engage with Sales and Customer Experience teams to understand buyer needs and close the feedback loop.
• Define product success metrics and use data to guide prioritization and iteration.
• Represent the product externally with customers, prospects, and at industry events.

Requirements

• Proven track record leading product for a developer tools, infrastructure, or platform company through rapid growth.
• Deep product instincts in technical and AI-driven categories, with the ability to engage with engineering teams.
• Experience in agile methodologies and product-led growth strategies.
• Strong analytical skills to define product success metrics and drive data-informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to represent the product effectively.
