What You’ll Do

• Transform research prototypes into reliable, scalable services that deliver real-time, multimodal creative output.
• Own projects end-to-end (ideation, architecture, implementation, launch) in close partnership with researchers and designers.
• Build distributed inference pipelines that serve billions of requests with sub-second latency and progressive rendering.
• Establish automated testing, benchmarking, and CI/CD to ensure every release meets exacting quality targets.
• Create intuitive user controls—from prompt-driven workflows to live editing handles—that unlock new forms of expression.
• Champion a first-principles engineering culture focused on performance measurement, elegant abstractions, and rapid iteration.

Requirements

• 5+ years designing and shipping production software (startup or high-impact projects preferred).
• Fluency in Python and modern C++ or Rust; deep comfort with PyTorch or JAX.
• Hands-on experience scaling distributed systems, GPUs/accelerators, and low-latency APIs.
• Evidence of creative problem-solving: competitive programming accolades, open-source leadership, or published research.
• Ability and enthusiasm to relocate to NYC and collaborate on-site at least three days per week.
• Growth mindset, bias for action, and appetite for the intensity of an early-stage environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with machine learning operations (MLOps).
