About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML, Python) to join our innovative team at Nearform. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for candidates based in the UK, with a hybrid work model that allows for remote work while requiring occasional travel to our London office. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in AI and machine learning to design and build applications that enhance digital experiences and deliver measurable results.

What You'll Do

• Design and build applications using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Support component design, development, and maintenance, ensuring high technical quality standards.
• Assist in defining structured practices in source code management, building, and deployment.
• Implement data storage solutions and optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
• Gather feedback from users and clients to develop tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with Technical Leaders to ensure timely project execution and delivery.
• Work closely with client teams to translate complex business requirements into innovative digital products.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborative software development practices.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Senior Engineer, with a strong focus on Python and AI frameworks.
• Practical experience in delivering solutions in an agile environment.
• Deep understanding of version control tools, particularly Git.
• Experience with testing methodologies and tools across all levels.
• Hands-on experience with databases and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with automation, CI/CD practices, and collaborative software development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI agents.
• Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
