We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Remote to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks for various applications using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Conduct performance and load testing to validate application scalability and reliability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies as a Scrum Master, facilitating discussions and ensuring team alignment.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines to integrate testing processes into the development lifecycle, enhancing efficiency and quality.
  • Mentor junior team members in best practices for test automation and quality assurance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing methodologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or TypeScript for test automation.
  • Strong understanding of API testing, microservices architecture, and database testing (SQL).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience as a Scrum Master is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as NIST and FISMA is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI testing and automation frameworks like Playwright.
  • Knowledge of Cobol, CICS, and DB2 for legacy systems testing.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform testing strategies.
