About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through effective test automation strategies. You will work closely with developers and product teams to design and implement automated tests, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, TypeScript, and Playwright.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the testing process and improve software delivery.
  • Conduct API testing and microservices testing to validate system functionality.
  • Utilize tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber for automated testing.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Monitor and report on test results, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the testing team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and TypeScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Playwright and Rest-Assured.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
  • Familiarity with React and UI testing.
