Senior Security Engineer - Remote Opportunity at Aglide

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join Aglide, a pioneering company in the cybersecurity space. This Senior Security Engineer remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to our innovative browser agent platform, which is trusted by leading fintechs and global enterprises. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing our security infrastructure and ensuring the safety of sensitive customer data.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement end-to-end encrypted infrastructure to protect customer data across our backend and browser extension.
• Conduct security architecture and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and design resilient systems against real-world attacks.
• Build compliance and audit tooling to support SOC 2 and other compliance frameworks required by our enterprise customers.
• Develop platform controls and analytics to enhance customer visibility and control over their automations.
• Contribute to secure product features across our dashboard, desktop app, and backend, embedding security into the product experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software experience, particularly in security-sensitive environments.
• Strong understanding of applied cryptography, zero-trust principles, and secure software development.
• Excellent debugging skills and systems thinking, with the ability to trace security issues across complex workflows.
• Desire for ownership, with the ability to manage end-to-end responsibilities from diagnosis to production.
• Experience with TypeScript, Postgres, Electron, web automation, and browser extensions is a plus.

Nice To Have

• Familiarity with identity/SSO tools like Okta, 1Password, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or enterprise security review processes.
• Experience in penetration testing or red teaming to inform defensive security practices.
