About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Supermicro. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to assist our sales teams in managing customer accounts and processing orders efficiently. As a Senior Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in liaising with various internal departments while providing essential product information to our clients.

What You'll Do

  • Manage sales account maintenance and provide technical and administrative product information to customers.
  • Perform daily clerical tasks, including typing correspondence, coordinating data entry, and processing documents.
  • Monitor inventory and follow up on estimated time of arrival (ETA) with purchasers.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments.
  • Assist in intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments.
  • Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding the status of their orders, facilitating credit issues and negotiating returns.
  • Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects and produce daily reports for clients.
  • Serve as a backup for the supervisor and team members as needed.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in data entry, scheduling production, and tracking orders.
  • A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture.
  • Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
