Senior Sales Engineering Manager - Remote Cybersecurity Role
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Sales Engineering Manager to join our team at Zscaler, a leader in cybersecurity solutions. This Senior Sales Engineering Manager remote position is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of cybersecurity while working from anywhere in Switzerland. As a key member of our Solutions Consulting department, you will drive the regional technical-win strategy and ensure high-quality pre-sales execution across priority accounts.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end pre-sales motion and ensure the Sales Engineering team delivers consistently high-quality, value-based customer engagements that accelerate pipeline and close outcomes.
- Build a high-performing, engaged Sales Engineering team through coaching, 1:1s, and clear development plans.
- Partner with customers across markets to deliver network, security, and application access transformation with Zscaler.
- Standardize repeatable pre-sales plays and solution frameworks to communicate complex value clearly to VP/C-level stakeholders.
- Influence product direction through structured field feedback and orchestrate cross-functional partners to deliver customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise pre-sales or solutions engineering experience in security, networking, cloud, or SaaS.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing Sales Engineers, focusing on hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Proven ability to run the regional pre-sales motion, including pipeline support and deal strategy.
- Strong executive customer leadership skills, including workshops and outcome-based storytelling.
- Deep understanding of security and networking concepts, including Zero Trust and cloud security.
Nice to Have
- Experience leading enterprise security/cloud pre-sales teams in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated ability to scale and develop a Sales Engineering organization.
- Deep domain expertise in Cybersecurity with strong customer architecture and transformation credibility.
