As a Senior Risk Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate underwriting decisions that align with company objectives.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and submit comprehensive underwriting packages to insurance carriers for workers’ compensation coverage for PEO clients.
• Review and ensure that workers’ compensation codes are accurately assigned based on client business operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations while maintaining accurate records of claims and resolutions.
• Prepare and audit new workers’ compensation submissions to ensure accurate client binding.
• Manage and oversee the daily employee underwriting process, ensuring all data is correctly entered into the system.
• Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues impacting workers’ compensation underwriting.
• Collaborate with sales, implementation, and payroll teams to ensure smooth risk underwriting.
• Continuously assess and improve the claims administration process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in workers’ compensation risk and underwriting, preferably within a PEO or global HR services organization.
• Strong understanding of workers’ compensation, OSHA reporting, and claims reporting procedures.
• Deep working knowledge of PrismHR configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in client-facing roles with strong communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
