Senior Quality Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Quality Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality tools and frameworks that enable the automation of quality assurance best practices for Enterprise SaaS solutions. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a leading role within your team, enjoying flexibility, autonomy, and responsibility to embed quality into our software engineering practices.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain frameworks for our test infrastructure that embed quality practices into our continuous deployment pipelines.
• Coach and provide automation expertise to software engineering team members to improve quality and testing practices.
• Contribute to technical designs to ensure a testing and quality perspective is integrated into development exercises.
• Increase efficiency and effectiveness across various testing types, including API testing, Security Testing, Load/Stress Testing, Integration Testing, Unit Testing, and Accessibility Testing.
• Support infrastructure, culture, organization, and strategy for continuous improvement across our testing and CI/CD practices.
• Expand data analytics across areas such as code quality, test coverage, bugs, and vulnerabilities to enhance visibility for your team.
• Work effectively with product managers, other engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure quality is a shared responsibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Senior Quality Engineer, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.
• Strong experience testing systems with external third-party integrations and dependencies.
• Proven experience with automated quality practices within continuous deployment environments, handling multiple daily releases.
• Experience in writing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites using technologies such as Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, and SoapUI, ideally in .NET.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
