Senior QA Engineer - Virtual Assistant Application

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team and work on a cutting-edge virtual assistant application. This Senior QA Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to create and optimize test processes while ensuring high-quality standards in software delivery.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy for the virtual assistant application, focusing on functional, performance, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Manage test execution, communicate issues, and escalate any variances in the test plan.
• Design test data and ensure compliance with data management requirements across all testing environments.
• Utilize Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to enhance testing processes.
• Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring adherence to testing timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and developer support teams to validate chatbot intents, entities, and workflows.
• Employ automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or PyTest to improve testing efficiency.
• Adapt to shifting priorities and demonstrate problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, specifically with virtual assistant and chatbot applications.
• Strong knowledge of API testing, particularly using Postman.
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools related to NLP/NLU and GenAI.
• Proficiency in test case design, execution, and management tools, including AI-assisted test creation with GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
