About the Role

Join Binance as a Senior QA Engineer in a remote position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our innovative blockchain products. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our global user base.

What You'll Do

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deliver high-quality products.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured automation test plans and test cases.
  • Prevent, analyze, and track product defects while performing root cause analysis.
  • Conduct hands-on automation and some manual testing to investigate and reproduce functional backend software issues.
  • Engage in investigatory testing of unreleased features, defining requirements, behavior, and impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend QA testing.
  • Basic technical knowledge related to computers and software development.
  • Experience with the full cycle of automation testing, including designing tests, developing scripts, and execution.
  • Proficient in testing backend services such as APIs, databases, and distributed services.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Linux, with the ability to write and review code.
  • Excellent test analysis skills and the ability to design test methods to solve complex quality problems.
  • Experience in Java unit testing is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages.
