Senior QA Automation Engineer - Remote Role
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at FroggyTalk. This remote role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of product quality and reliability as we scale our operations. You will play a crucial role in defining how quality is built, tested, and maintained across our products.
What You'll Do
- Take full responsibility for the quality of all live products, ensuring stable and high-performing releases.
- Design and implement a comprehensive QA strategy that includes both manual and automated testing.
- Build and maintain evolving test scenarios as our product grows, performing exploratory, regression, and edge-case testing.
- Develop and scale automated test suites for API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and select appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
- Design and execute stress tests to identify performance bottlenecks and ensure systems can scale reliably with user growth.
- Collaborate closely with developers to catch issues early and advocate for quality-first engineering practices.
- Document QA processes and best practices, helping to define future QA hiring needs.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in QA, SDET, or similar roles.
- Strong automation skills with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript or Python.
- Deep understanding of testing strategies and the ability to design evolving test scenarios.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience in performance or load testing is a strong plus.
