Senior Python Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure to join our team remotely. As a Senior Python Engineer, you will tackle complex technical challenges, including optimizing content delivery speed and scalability for a platform that handles millions of requests daily.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement complex features and systems for our cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the engineering team.
• Participate in architectural discussions and decisions to enhance our platform.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to code quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Python 3.11+.
• Expertise in Django, including its architecture, ORM, and templating engines.
• Familiarity with Django Ninja and Pydantic frameworks is strongly preferred.
• Experience in API design, translating product and UI requirements into effective, performant, and secure APIs.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including JSON fields and full-text search capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of database systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems, particularly microservices architecture.

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating AI tools and frameworks into the software development process.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications from Pydantic.
