Senior Python Developer - Remote Exchange Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer - Remote to join our dynamic exchange team at Crypto.com. As a key member of our team, you will help develop and maintain our cutting-edge trading platform, ensuring a seamless and secure trading experience for our clients across APAC, EMEA, and North America.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain Python-based backend services to serve real-time and batch risk data at scale.
  • Build analytics pipelines, dashboards, and reports using tools like pandas, matplotlib, and plotly for internal stakeholders.
  • Integrate with data systems such as PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, and Redis, managing workflows via Airflow.
  • Collaborate closely with product management and global development teams to enhance our platform.
  • Work with the DevOps team to continuously upgrade and improve our technology stack.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python, including in-depth knowledge of libraries such as pandas, numpy, and frameworks like Django and Flask.
  • Expertise in SQL with a solid understanding of relational database concepts and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with key technologies: Python, pandas, matplotlib, plotly, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and Airflow.
  • Familiarity with ClickHouse, Java, and Kubernetes/Docker is a plus.
  • Experience in an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, or Exchange developing trading applications in Equity, FX, or Derivative products.
  • Proficient in English and experienced in collaborating with global teams.
  • Understanding of TDD methodology and experience with automated testing.
  • A strong desire to improve processes and a keen attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ClickHouse, Java, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
