Senior Project Management Leader - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Management Leader to join our team at USAA. This remote opportunity will allow you to lead a dynamic team in delivering a capital plan valued at approximately $150M - $200M. As a Senior Project Management Leader, you will be responsible for the strategic design, operational leadership, and coordination of engineering, design, and construction functions for our organization.

What You'll Do

• Direct a team of project delivery managers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare and present executive updates regarding project schedules, cost, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Review project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate building engineering studies and facility condition assessments.
• Provide leadership and technical expertise on complex problems and consultant agreements.
• Develop policies and procedures for project tracking and planning.
• Manage relocation services and ensure smooth transitions during project lifecycles.
• Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified and controlled.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in building construction management or project management.
• 3+ years of direct team lead or management experience.
• Experience developing and managing third-party consultant agreements.
• Strong knowledge of project management processes and Microsoft Office applications.

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
