You'll collaborate with a diverse team to develop and implement infrastructure monitoring and event management solutions that enhance our operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with management and departments to identify end-user requirements for infrastructure monitoring and event management.
• Develop monitoring solutions and automate workflows to improve service delivery.
• Evaluate technology effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, and research.
• Administer and maintain monitoring and event management tools.
• Process customer requests related to alerting or monitoring changes.
• Provide guidance on monitoring and event standards to ensure compliance.
• Assist in problem coordination by analyzing current and historical data to identify root causes of issues.
• Deliver performance notifications for unexpected events that deviate from established thresholds.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Strong understanding of Linux user interface and commands.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or the surrounding area.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Netcool, Nagios, or SCOM.
• Familiarity with ITIL and IT Service Management practices.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
