Senior Product Owner - Cryptographic Cyber Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner - Cryptographic Cyber Platform to lead the development of a groundbreaking cybersecurity platform in Abu Dhabi. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of cybersecurity with a high-impact role that allows you to define the vision, shape the roadmap, and drive the delivery of a new cryptographic cyber product suite. As a Senior Product Owner, you will have the chance to build something significant from the ground up, free from legacy constraints.

What You'll Do

• Own the full product lifecycle—from ideation to release and continuous improvement.
• Translate complex technical concepts (crypto, secure communications, trusted computing) into clear product requirements.
• Build and prioritize the product backlog with a laser focus on value, customer needs, and business impact.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership to define product strategy and long-term direction.
• Partner with engineering teams to break down epics, refine user stories, and ensure technical feasibility.
• Drive sprint planning, review outcomes, and maintain a fast, focused, and enjoyable development process.
• Validate and refine product capabilities through user research, proofs of concept, and early customer engagements.
• Monitor industry trends in cryptography, cyber defense, secure messaging, and digital trust.

Requirements

• Software engineering background with experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager delivering technical B2B products.
• Strong FinTech experience in areas such as payments, trading systems, authentication, or fraud detection.
• Exposure to cybersecurity or cryptographic products (HSMs, KMS, PKI, secure communications).
• Ability to navigate complex tech conversations and explain value to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong backlog management, requirements definition, and agile delivery expertise.

Nice-to-Have Superpowers

• Experience in enterprise security, cloud security, or compliance-heavy environments.
• Understanding of threat models, encryption standards, or zero-trust architectures.
• Previous experience in hyper-growth or scale-up environments.
• Comfort presenting to senior leadership or customers.
