Senior Product Manager - Trading Experience for GalaxyOne

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Trading Experience to join our team at GalaxyOne. In this role, you will lead the development of our multi-asset trading platform, which spans both crypto and equities. As a Senior Product Manager (Trading) remote, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of trading by leveraging your expertise in product management and trading mechanics.

What You'll Do

• Own the trading product portfolio across crypto and equities, defining and driving vision, strategy, and roadmap for web and mobile platforms.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the full product stack, from trading infrastructure and API integrations through to user-facing UI/UX.
• Own the complete trading user journey, from market discovery and order placement to execution and position management.
• Collaborate with engineering to build performant, reliable trading infrastructure including order management systems, exchange integrations, and market data delivery.
• Conduct competitive analysis and user research to identify opportunities for differentiation in execution quality, order types, and trading workflows.
• Partner with design to create intuitive trading interfaces that serve both novice and sophisticated users.
• Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure all trading features meet regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
• Define and track trading-specific KPIs (order flow, execution quality, conversion, engagement) to measure product success and inform iteration.
• Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market strategies for new trading capabilities and features.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives with engineering and design to ensure efficient delivery.
• Communicate product updates, priorities, and progress to stakeholders including the executive team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on trading products across crypto, equities, options, or derivatives.
• Direct experience building order management systems, exchange integrations, or execution infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of trading mechanics: order types, market microstructure, liquidity dynamics, and execution quality.
• Experience implementing and managing options trading programs (including level 2 strategies) and margin trading functionality.
• Experience with advanced order types (stop-limit, trailing stop, TWAP, iceberg), algorithmic execution tools, or post-trade settlement workflows.
• Track record of launching and scaling trading products from concept through adoption.
• Ability to translate complex trading concepts into intuitive user experiences for varied audience segments.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience defining and tracking trading-specific metrics.
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, design, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with product management tools (Jira, Linear, Notion, or similar).

Nice to Have

• Background in crypto-native trading platforms or exchanges.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for digital asset trading (SEC, CFTC, state money transmission).
• Experience building for both retail and institutional trading audiences.
• Technical background (engineering, quantitative finance) that enables deeper collaboration with developers.
• Prior experience growing into or preparing for people management responsibilities.
