Senior Product Development Manager - Cutting Edge Technology

About the Role

As a Senior Product Development Manager at reMarkable, you will play a central role in managing products and processes, working globally with cutting-edge technology and dedicated teams. This Senior Product Development Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to drive New Product Development (NPD) projects in the Industrialization department, focusing on timeline management, risk management, and budget oversight.

What You'll Do

• Lead product development projects from early phases to mass production, ensuring successful outcomes in terms of cost, quality, design, and availability.
• Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals in engineering, product management, and software to ensure alignment and project success.
• Utilize your engineering and operations experience to secure manufacturability and resiliency in our supply chain for new products.
• Manage various domains within NPD projects, including Industrialization, Manufacturing, Supplier & Product Quality, and Manufacturing Test.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing leading practices and processes for NPD projects.

Requirements

• Experience in product development, particularly in hardware and manufacturing processes.
• Proven leadership skills to manage and influence engineering, design, and operations professionals.
• Familiarity with key production processes such as injection molding, extrusion, and SMT.
• Relevant higher education in a related field.
• Ability to prioritize complex tasks while maintaining focus on critical objectives.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Design for Assembly/Manufacture/Repair/Refurbish & Industrialization of mass manufacturing products.
• Curiosity and a desire to learn, with aspirations for a career trajectory in management.
