Mid-Level Product Owner - Operations (Hybrid Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Product Owner (Remote) to join our team at The Quality Group. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our products in the operations area, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure a clear business impact. What You'll Do

• Collaborate with operations business stakeholders (e.g., logistics, planning, supply chain) to gather and prioritize requirements.
• Guide the development team through business requirements and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Transform operational requirements into user stories and epics, breaking them down into actionable steps for continuous progress.
• Create and manage tickets for internal teams and external service providers, ensuring alignment with team needs.
• Maintain and manage product backlogs, identifying dependencies for effective release planning.
• Prioritize requirements through close collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity.
• Act as the central communication point for the team, promoting transparency and openness.
• Oversee the implementation of requirements and take ownership of cross-team projects related to operations initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner and/or Project Manager in an agile environment.
• Demonstrated success in implementing digitalization, automation, or efficiency initiatives along operational processes.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end operations processes and a passion for bridging business and IT.
• Ability to engage with complex IT topics, showcasing your technical understanding and commitment.
• Experience with tools like Confluence, Jira, or similar systems to foster an efficient project environment.
• Excellent negotiation skills and a structured, goal-oriented work style.
• Fluent in German (C1 level) and English, both written and spoken.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment with ample room for creativity and high execution speed.
