About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer - Mobile Experience to join HappyCo’s mobile product team. • Design for real-world constraints such as offline usage, unreliable connectivity, and performance limitations.
  • Identify and drive improvements across product boundaries, translating complex operational problems into simple, mobile-first solutions.
  • Conduct user research including interviews and usability testing to develop a deep understanding of user needs.
  • Design, prototype, test, and iterate quickly using high-fidelity mobile prototypes.
  • Monitor and analyze product usage data to identify patterns and emerging behaviors.
  • Regularly synthesize and share customer insights with the design team and product partners.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in product design, particularly in mobile environments.
  • Strong product instincts and high personal standards for quality and outcomes.
  • Proven experience owning end-to-end mobile product design.
  • A portfolio showcasing depth of thinking and measurable impact.
  • Ability to run user research independently and balance rigor with pace.
  • Strong business and product acumen.
  • Comfort engaging in technical discussions and collaborating closely with engineers.
  • Willingness to collaborate across time zones (Australia & North America).

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing B2B or operational mobile products.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate design processes.
  • Familiarity with mobile platform constraints (Flutter, iOS / Android).
  • Exposure to analytics or adoption tooling.

What We Offer

  • Work from anywhere supported by a flexible company culture.
  • Opportunity to work for one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the PropTech industry.
  • Generous paid parental leave and competitive pay, including stock options.
  • Access to employee assistance programs for physical and mental wellness.
  • Monthly stipends to support wellness and home office expenses.
