Senior Product Data Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Data Analyst to join our innovative team at Ruby Labs. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to drive analytics across subscription products and web funnels, collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Data teams to enhance conversion rates, retention, and lifetime value (LTV). You will play a crucial role in ensuring trusted tracking, robust data models, and actionable reporting.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Data Teams to define KPIs and success metrics.
• Create and maintain dashboards, improving existing reporting for clarity and trust.
• Conduct full-funnel analysis to identify bottlenecks and propose A/B test ideas.
• Lead user behavior analysis using event data to enhance user journeys.
• Monitor key metrics and anomalies, escalating issues as necessary.
• Own and maintain event taxonomy and tracking structure, ensuring alignment with business logic.
• Design and build robust SQL data models for performance-minded queries.
• Mentor Junior/Middle Data Analysts, providing guidance and feedback.

Requirements

• Degree in an analytical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with proven ownership of end-to-end analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends in large datasets.
• Excellent communication skills to translate analysis into business actions.
• Experience in Product Analytics, including funnels, cohorts, and retention metrics.
• Hands-on experience with event analytics tools like Mixpanel or GA4.
• Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Ability to adapt quickly and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Marketing Analytics.
• Knowledge of Python and/or R.
• Familiarity with GCP and BigQuery.
• Experience with Google Ads or other ad platforms.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks like Airflow.
