Senior Procurement Consultant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Consultant to join our dynamic team at Commerce Decisions, a part of the Harris group. This Senior Procurement Consultant remote position offers you the chance to work with a leading SaaS and consultancy firm that empowers procurement teams globally. Our flagship product, AWARD®, has been instrumental in significant procurement projects across the UK and internationally, including high-profile events like the Olympic Games and major infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

• Support delivery across the breadth of Professional Services products, ensuring outputs are defensible, auditable, and aligned with client objectives.
• Manage engagements with clients, acting as the Lead Consultant to deliver effective and timely support while ensuring value for money.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to develop and win new business, identifying leads and creating propositions for new clients.
• Participate actively in quality management and peer review processes, adhering to company policies and guidance.
• Undertake AWARD® configuration and peer reviews to support software delivery, assisting clients in their use of AWARD®.
• Promote our products and services through webinars, events, social media, public speaking, and white papers.
• Support the VP of Professional Services in identifying and implementing improvements, including leveraging AI in service delivery.

Requirements

• Eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) Clearance.
• Proven experience in software-led consultancy, particularly within the public sector.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage and deliver small projects effectively.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as needed.
• Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated work style.
• Proficient in standard MS Office applications and a university degree (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have

• Experience in public procurement competition design and evaluation.
• Understanding of UK Government/Defence Procurement processes.
• A strong desire to learn about new software applications.
