Senior PeopleSoft Payroll Upgrade Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Payroll Upgrade Specialist to join our team remotely. This role is critical in implementing necessary payroll system changes within the NYCAPS PeopleSoft framework due to newly enacted federal legislation. As a Senior PeopleSoft Payroll Upgrade Specialist, you will leverage your extensive experience to ensure compliance and efficiency in payroll operations.

What You'll Do

• Execute legislative update scripts and perform system configuration changes for PeopleSoft.
• Create and retrofit payroll-related code, web services, interfaces, and reports within NYCAPS.
• Support installation, maintenance, and configuration of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools.
• Manage migrations across environments while balancing ongoing payroll operations.
• Collaborate with technical leads and project teams to ensure timely completion of implementation activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience with PeopleSoft and PeopleTools across HCM modules.
• Proven track record as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in PeopleSoft upgrades and patch installations.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM applications (v 9.2 PUM 39+) and PeopleSoft Tools (v 8.59+).
• Experience with middleware products like Oracle WebLogic and Oracle SQL.
• Expertise in PeopleSoft security products and infrastructure.

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Certification in PeopleSoft Upgrade Administration CA Tool & PUM Shell.
• Familiarity with the New York City Automated Personnel System (NYCAPS).
