About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Cloud Engineer to join our team and work remotely on exciting projects. This role is focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Exadata, providing you with the opportunity to design, build, and transform platforms in a large-scale enterprise IT environment.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop Oracle platforms (on-prem, cloud, and hybrid).
  • Lead and support migrations to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Work with Oracle Exadata as part of the platform landscape.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code for provisioning and lifecycle management.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines within Oracle environments.
  • Automate deployment, configuration, and scalability.
  • Advise on cloud architecture, security, and observability.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for engineers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience as an Oracle Engineer / Cloud Engineer / Platform Engineer.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle technology in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud migrations.
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata (platform or cloud side).
  • A strong DevOps mindset.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).
  • Scripting experience (e.g. Shell, Python, PowerShell).
  • Knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, and observability.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud security services (e.g. Cloud Guard, Data Safe).
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Experience in very large, mission-critical environments.
