Senior Online Developer - Remote Role at Rebellion

About the Role

We want you to #JOINTHEREBELLION! We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Online Developer to join our tech team remotely. This Senior Online Developer role offers the opportunity to work on building and supporting internal and external web APIs that are critical to our game engine team. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and deploy web applications to support our in-house engine team.
• Produce performant and well-documented code.
• Maintain and improve existing tools.
• Develop integrations with third-party APIs.
• Support application deployments and communicate with other teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Strong experience with NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Vue and React.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud environments.
• Strong experience with software development tools and version control systems (Git/Perforce desirable).

Nice to Have

• Experience writing serverless functions (AWS Lambda/Azure Functions).
• Comfortable modifying/maintaining applications written in other languages (such as PHP).
