Senior Network Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely in the USA. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our enterprise application delivery systems. This position is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of network security and application delivery platforms.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for application delivery and security platforms, including load balancers, WAF, and CDN technologies.
• Perform hands-on engineering, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of application delivery and security solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and application teams to ensure alignment and effective cross-team communication.
• Participate in capacity planning, forecasting, and architectural decisions to support scalable and resilient application delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and application issues across OSI layers 1–7, providing clear and timely status updates to stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain network and application security best practices, including WAF/load balancer configurations, change controls, monitoring, and documentation.
• Support security audits and compliance activities by providing technical input, evidence, documentation, and remediation support.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, responding to high-priority incidents within defined SLAs.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining application delivery controllers such as F5, A10, AVI, Citrix, or similar platforms.
• 2+ years of experience supporting cloud-native applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS encryption, DNS, TCP/IP, and application security principles.
• Working knowledge of scripting or automation techniques to support operational efficiency.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with CDN and edge security platforms such as Cloudflare and Akamai.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a security-first mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
