Senior Network Engineer - Remote Opportunity in Germany

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team at noris network AG. You will dive deep into the world of complex networks, ensuring smooth operations across various platforms.

What You'll Do

• Manage and optimize network operations, focusing on sustainable troubleshooting and planning changes in accordance with processes and SLAs.
• Proactively enhance network performance through upgrades, migrations, monitoring, and adjustments.
• Work with cutting-edge technologies such as Juniper and Arista (including CVP) in a high-end environment.
• Engage in automation initiatives using tools like Ansible and GitLab.
• Participate in on-call duties and occasionally scheduled off-hours changes as per customer SLAs.

Requirements

• Experience in network operations, particularly in routing and switching.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with CLI.
• Understanding of complex networks with basic knowledge of Linux and Bash.
• Completed vocational training or degree in IT/Networking or equivalent practical experience.
• Good knowledge of Juniper and/or Arista is preferred.
