Senior Mobile Engineer - FinTech Solutions

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our innovative team at Pleo. In this role, you'll help evolve our Mobile Platform and enhance our Mobile App’s product offering. What You'll Do

• Lead initiatives to design, build, and maintain innovative solutions for our Mobile Application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement to our Mobile Application and Platform.
• Participate in code reviews, post-mortems, and provide mentorship to other engineers.
• Build high-quality and maintainable mobile app features that enhance user experience.
• Contribute to the execution, delivery, and quality of projects within and outside the team.

Requirements

• Experience developing and maintaining React Native mobile apps, with bonus points for native iOS and/or Android development.
• Strong TypeScript skills are essential.
• Familiarity with the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) design pattern.
• Proficiency with CI/CD processes and tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of tools like Expo.
• Experience building quality apps with E2E testing frameworks like Maestro.
• An understanding of current industry trends and best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile app performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in a FinTech environment.
