Manager Financial Reporting - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Manager Financial Reporting to join our team in a remote capacity. As the Manager Financial Reporting, you will lead the financial reporting team, oversee the Athlon financial statement process, and define targets that align with our strategic goals. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting across our operations in 11 countries.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a financial reporting team of 4 members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Act as the subject matter expert on financial reporting topics, ensuring compliance with IFRS requirements.
• Interpret and report on Athlon's lease business, providing insights from both Athlon and Mercedes Benz Mobility perspectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver high-quality financial data.
• Co-create the future Finance roadmap with the Finance & Reporting team to enhance our reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably from a large audit firm or relevant industry.
• Certification as a Chartered Accountant is essential.
• Expertise in IAS 12 to support local markets with complex tax accounting topics.
• Demonstrated audit and leadership experience.

• Experience in the mobility solutions sector.
• Familiarity with financial reporting software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
