About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join Kikoff, a leading FinTech company, to redefine how people build financial confidence. As a Senior Mobile Engineer on our core credit-building team, you will shape the mobile experiences that define how our users build and maintain strong credit. This Senior Mobile Engineer remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative solutions that directly impact the financial lives of our users.

What You'll Do

  • Build and scale a top finance app on iOS and Android that directly impacts the financial lives of hundreds of thousands of users, growing to millions.
  • Own end-to-end feature development across the user lifecycle, from identity verification and onboarding flows to credit report deep-dives and AI-driven credit coaching.
  • Integrate with financial service providers and internal APIs, building robust mobile interfaces that handle sensitive financial data securely.
  • Develop reusable components and design system elements that accelerate experimentation velocity across our multi-brand mobile platform.
  • Enhance mobile platform foundations, improving build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and developer velocity for our growing team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of mobile development experience with a track record of building and scaling production apps across iOS and/or Android.
  • Strong mobile architecture skills with a deep understanding of state management patterns and app architecture.
  • Experience in shipping consumer-facing apps, handling crashes, edge cases, and maintaining features through multiple releases.
  • Expertise in iOS (Swift/UIKit/SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java/Jetpack Compose) development.
  • Comfortable writing unit, integration, and UI tests; you build quality in from the start.
  • Skilled at working with REST APIs and building resilient network layers.

Nice to Have

  • Flutter/Dart experience or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Fintech experience with payment systems or banking APIs.
  • Technical leadership experience in owning complex mobile initiatives.
  • Mentorship experience through code reviews and establishing mobile best practices.
  • Ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic delivery.
