About the Role

At Anchorage Digital, we are seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff - Financial Infrastructure to join our innovative team. This remote position allows you to contribute to the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto. As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will play a crucial role in architecting and building the infrastructure that powers digital asset custody, trading, staking, and settlement for enterprise financial institutions.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement secure, scalable infrastructure that supports digital asset services.
  • Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design specifications, and mentorship across the engineering organization.
  • Lead complex cross-functional projects that span custody, trading, compliance, and client integration.
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of platform features, from architecture through production support and on-call rotation.
  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, and security teams to ensure the platform meets regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience building backend services and distributed systems.
  • Experience designing and delivering customer-facing APIs and multi-tenant platform architectures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native microservices; experience with GCP is a plus.
  • A track record of building automated tests alongside your features and maintaining production systems.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, systems design).

Nice to Have

  • Professional experience with C++, Go, or Rust.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Background in financial services, fintech, or banking-as-a-service platforms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for financial institutions.
