Senior Manager, Operations Success - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Operations Success to join our team at Oyster. This remote role allows you to work from anywhere while leading a team that manages and optimizes relationships with our external vendor partners. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations vendor ecosystem is high-performing and aligned with our business goals.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Vendor Managers who oversee key partnerships across various business areas.
• Define and execute the vendor partnership strategy to ensure that vendors effectively support business growth and operational needs.
• Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key vendor partners, leading complex negotiations and ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
• Use data and analytics to evaluate vendor performance, cost efficiency, and service quality, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Go-to-Market (GTM), Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment and optimize vendor solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in customer success, partnership management, or vendor management.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in high-growth or global organizations, particularly in managing external vendors.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with various types of vendors, including legal, compliance, and benefits.
• Familiarity with data-driven decision-making processes.
• Proficiency in negotiation and conflict resolution.
