Senior Manager, GRC Engineering - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Manager, GRC Engineering to join our dynamic team at Workstreet. This remote position allows you to lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives while working from anywhere. As a Senior Manager, GRC Engineering, you will play a crucial role in helping businesses scale securely by designing and implementing cutting-edge security and compliance programs.

What You'll Do

• Own Executive-Level Client Relationships: Serve as the senior point of contact for a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring clients receive an exceptional, high-touch experience.
• Lead and Guide Client Engagements: Provide strategic oversight across multiple compliance engagements, ensuring clients are well-informed and prepared throughout audits, certifications, and assessments.
• Manage Escalations at the Executive Level: Address complex, high-stakes client concerns with professionalism and urgency, turning challenges into opportunities.
• Be a Strategic Trusted Advisor: Deliver compliance guidance that aligns with clients' broader business goals.
• Ensure Quality Across All Client Touchpoints: Conduct regular reviews of client communications and deliverables to maintain excellence.
• Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Supervise and mentor managers and analysts, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
• Oversee Compliance Programs: Manage multiple cybersecurity compliance engagements, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards.
• Implement Compliance Policies: Develop and maintain cybersecurity compliance policies aligned with industry best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing mid-sized teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional professionalism in client-facing communication with outstanding written and verbal English skills.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple compliance projects concurrently.

Nice to Have

• Experience at a Big 4 firm in an advisory or assurance capacity.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
• Familiarity with compliance automation platforms such as Vanta or Drata.
