Senior Kdb+ Developer - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Kdb+ Developer to join our innovative team at Data Intellect. What You'll Do

• Collaborate with business users to define new application requirements.
• Develop, test, and maintain clean, performant code for client applications.
• Support project delivery alongside Project Managers and senior developers.
• Work as part of a close-knit team to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
• Analyze large-scale time-series data and generate actionable reports.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial kdb+ development experience.
• Solid understanding of q language and time-series data structures.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Prior experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Consulting.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Python, cloud platforms, or other time-series databases.
• Exposure to project leadership or people management.
• Contribution to internal tools, documentation, or community initiatives.
