About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Software Integration Engineer to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do
- Design and implement software solutions that integrate hardware functionality with Python.
- Utilize your expertise in embedded systems, including UART, SPI, I²C, and USB, to create robust applications.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for embedded systems.
- Conduct unit and system-level testing using frameworks like pytest and Robot Framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to ensure project success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software integration with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to debug complex systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML).
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence.
- Proficient in using DOORS for requirements management.
