About the Role

Join Coody as a Senior Java Developer and embrace the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to innovative projects. As a Senior Java Developer at Coody, you'll play a pivotal role in building and scaling new and existing products, taking full ownership of the service, code, and outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable, robust applications in cloud environments.
• Contribute to architecture, testing, and automation processes.
• Work across the full tech stack, including frontend, integrations, and CI/CD.
• Deliver value from day one in assignments typically lasting 6-24 months.
• Collaborate with a high-performing team in a high-trust environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
• Proficiency in cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS / GCP / Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD and Terraform is a plus.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, Scala, or Kotlin is appreciated.
• A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Must be based in Sweden with Swedish citizenship or valid work visa.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
