What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Hadoop applications and frameworks to support data processing and analytics.
• Monitor and optimize Hadoop clusters for performance and reliability.
• Address vulnerabilities and resolve issues within the operating system and Hadoop environment.
• Support data migration efforts and ensure data integrity throughout the process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement ETL processes using Python.
• Work with large datasets and troubleshoot erroneous data issues in an enterprise environment.
• Document processes and provide training to team members on Hadoop best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Hadoop Developer.
• 2+ years of experience with Python and ETL processes.
• Proven experience with Hadoop deployments and migrations.
• Experience working in an enterprise environment with a large number of users.
• Familiarity with data warehouses and handling erroneous data.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Apache Spark and other big data technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
