What You'll Do

• Design, implement, test, and deploy applications to enhance our platform, focusing on privacy and security.
• Develop and deliver code across the full stack, ensuring engineering excellence by defining best practices in testing, documentation, and observability.
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to uncover requirements, innovate solutions, and tackle complex challenges.
• Take ownership of architectural decisions and strive for continuous improvement in technology and processes at CLEAR.
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience, proficient in Java and Python.
• Experience with cloud-based application development, particularly with AWS.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in collaboration tools such as GitHub and Argo.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity.
• A genuine curiosity about technology and a commitment to continuous learning.

Nice to Have

• Experience in identity verification or biometric technologies.
• Knowledge of data modeling and architecture.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
