About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team at Akeno. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative software solutions that empower our customers to save millions. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will take ownership of features from frontend to backend, ensuring high-quality delivery and performance. This position is based in Germany, and while we value collaboration, it is primarily an office-based role.

What You'll Do

• Develop and enhance a state-of-the-art software platform that is self-service and enterprise-ready.
• Deliver feature increments from top to bottom, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Resolve bugs effectively to prevent future occurrences and improve overall software quality.
• Create robust monitoring and testing frameworks to detect issues proactively.
• Continuously improve developer experience (DX) for faster development cycles.

Requirements

• Strong experience in long-term product development.
• Proficient coding skills in React, Typescript, and NodeJS (or similar technologies).
• Intermediate-level understanding of databases and GraphQL.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Cypress and Jest.
• Ability to lead projects or significant feature increments.
• Strong communication skills for constructive discussions with colleagues.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with Hasura (GraphQL middleware).
• Good understanding of CSS, including box model and flexbox.
• Strong background in event sourcing for complex workflows.
• DevOps/Cloud expertise to enhance internal productivity.
• Experience integrating AI systems for chat and recommendations.
