Senior Finance Manager - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager - Remote to join Mary's Meals International, a global movement dedicated to ensuring that every child receives a nutritious daily meal in a place of education. As a Senior Finance Manager, you will provide leadership to the finance team, ensuring high-quality financial management, reporting, and control across our global operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop the finance team to ensure effective financial operations.
• Oversee monthly management accounts and financial reporting to maintain transparency.
• Manage donor financial reporting and proposals to secure funding.
• Support the annual budgeting process to align financial resources with organizational goals.
• Ensure robust financial controls are in place to safeguard assets.
• Oversee statutory reporting and compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen financial processes globally to enhance efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial policies and practices.

Requirements

• Qualified finance professional (CCAB or equivalent).
• Substantial post-qualification experience in finance management.
• Experience in UK financial reporting (FRS 102).
• Proven ability to lead finance teams effectively.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills to navigate complex financial scenarios.
• Experience managing auditors and financial institutions.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• Cultural sensitivity in diverse contexts to work effectively in a global environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the nonprofit sector.

• Knowledge of financial software and tools.
