About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Finance & Accounting Associate - Remote to join our dynamic team at Kode Health. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. As a Senior Finance & Accounting Associate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a small team, providing hands-on experience in finance and accounting operations.

What You'll Do

• Oversee financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Support auditing processes and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial operations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial management software.
• Experience with financial compliance and auditing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in the healthcare or SaaS industry is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and financial software tools.
• Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10-CM).
