Lead Trade Finance Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Lead Trade Finance Specialist to join our Finance & Enterprise Risk Directorate at Beko Corporate. This remote position offers you the opportunity to manage and execute import/export/transit letters of credit (L/C) transactions with local and international banks, procurement teams, and treasury teams. As a Lead Trade Finance Specialist, you will play a critical role in optimizing trade finance costs and processes while ensuring compliance with international trade rules.

What You'll Do

• Manage and execute import/export/transit letters of credit (L/C) transactions with local and international banks.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, accounting, treasury, and suppliers for trade finance documentation.
• Communicate with banks regarding L/C limits and pricing.
• Review and ensure compliance of L/C terms, shipping documents, and bank requirements.
• Monitor L/C maturities, payments, and amendments.
• Manage relationships with partner banks and financial institutions.
• Support treasury and corporate finance teams in trade finance structures and banking processes.
• Identify opportunities to optimize trade finance costs and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 5–8 years of experience in trade finance, letters of credit, or banking operations.
• Strong knowledge of import L/C processes and international trade documentation.
• Familiarity with trade finance practices.
• Experience working with local and international banks.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a busy workload.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Great team player with a self-initiative mindset.
