Cash Carrying Crew Member - Security Operations

About the Role

We are hiring a Cash Carrying Crew Member to join our dynamic team at the Post Office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a security environment, ensuring the safe delivery and collection of cash and valuables across London. As a Cash Carrying Crew Member, you will be responsible for providing a high-value delivery service, making this a critical role within our operations.

What You'll Do

• Deliver and collect cash and valuables in a timely and secure manner.
• Work independently or as part of a team, interacting with customers from both the Post Office and external organizations.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements while driving, including the proper use of a digital tachograph.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progression.
• Maintain a high level of communication with team members and management regarding operational needs.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license and experience in multi-drop delivery.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to adapt to new processes quickly.
• GCSE English (grade D+) or equivalent; candidates may need to pass a written English assessment.
• Ability to work in a high-security environment and undergo a thorough screening process.
• Possession of a current C1 license and SIA license is beneficial but not essential.

Nice to Have

• Experience in logistics or security operations.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations related to cash handling.
