Senior Employee Relations Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Employee Relations Specialist - Remote to join our dedicated team at WelbeHealth. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming senior care by providing comprehensive healthcare solutions for vulnerable seniors. As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist, you will lead complex employee relations (ER) work, including high-risk investigations and performance management, while serving as a trusted consultant to leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead complex employee relations initiatives, focusing on high-risk investigations and performance management.
• Provide expert guidance on policy interpretation to leadership, ensuring fair and consistent corrective actions.
• Support leave and accommodation-related ER cases, building ER capability through training and resources.
• Drive proactive ER strategies to improve workplace culture and employee engagement.
• Conduct thorough and confidential ER investigations, serving as a subject matter expert in performance management.
• Identify key trends and emerging risk areas across ER activities, collaborating closely with various teams to support ER matters.
• Utilize data to inform and execute on projects, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the ER function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in employee relations.
• Demonstrated expertise in design and execution of employee relations initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience leading project or process improvement teams.
• Able to leverage data to inform and execute on projects.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare or senior care environments.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
• Certification in human resources or employee relations.
