Senior Email Marketing Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Sweetwater, the nation's leading online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking a Senior Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This Senior Email Marketing Specialist remote position will allow you to manage email campaigns from start to finish while collaborating with various stakeholders to drive ideas from concept to completion.

What You'll Do

• Guide multiple aspects of email campaign management including strategic planning, development, proofing, deployment, measurement, and reporting.
• Manage the email production process, ensuring all emails are accurate and performant.
• Conduct quality assurance testing on email messages; ensure tracking links, images, subject lines, and segmentation lists function properly.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders including digital marketing, creative services, marketing analytics, and marketing operations to develop and document email marketing project plans.
• Participate in email experimentation from hypothesis to execution and measurement.
• Create, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and track initiatives against established goals.
• Provide regular reports and insights on channel and campaign performance to executive stakeholders.
• Consult with marketing analytics to identify reporting needs and document reporting objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in email marketing.
• Experience implementing and optimizing email marketing programs across the entire marketing lifecycle.
• Demonstrated proficiency in crafting concise and compelling email content, including impactful subject lines that optimize open rates and engagement metrics.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of email marketing and compliance best practices.
• Knowledge and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development for email.
• Experience or familiarity with Blueshift email marketing platform.
• Experience with Push Notification and SMS marketing channels.
• Excellent organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating email programs with other direct channels including but not limited to direct mail, search, display, and social media.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Liquid development for email preferred.
