Senior Electrical Engineering Team Lead - Embedded Compute Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Team Lead for Embedded Compute Solutions to join our innovative team at Anduril Industries. In this remote role, you will lead an electrical engineering team dedicated to developing cutting-edge embedded compute solutions for military applications. You will play a crucial role in transforming military capabilities through advanced technology, ensuring that our systems are designed, built, and sold with the utmost efficiency and effectiveness.

What You'll Do

• Lead an electrical engineering team in creating embedded compute solutions for vehicle management, DSP, and networking.
• Own the full PCB development cycle for host boards for FPGAs / SoCs / SoMs, including developing requirements, schematic capture, board layout, bring-up, testing, and integration.
• Develop and improve workflows throughout the FPGA / HDL design cycle, focusing on architecture, functional block definition, simulation, system testing, and HDL library standardization.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a strategy for scalable deployment of compute solutions across Anduril.
• Create, maintain, and communicate product development schedules to ensure all personnel are aware of their tasks and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs in military, automotive, or similar hardware.
• Experience leading an Electrical Engineering team focused on Digital Design.
• Proficiency in an HDL language (VHDL, Verilog).
• Familiarity with common MCU, CPU, and FPGA devices and technologies.
• Knowledge of standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB, etc.
• Experience in design for signal integrity and power integrity.
• Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automation of tests.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of DO-254, DO-178C, DO-160, DO-311A standards.
• Expertise in computer networking and implementing enhanced security measures.
