About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - RF Hardware to join our dynamic team at Raytheon. This remote position allows you to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge Radio Frequency (RF) products and systems. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in solving complex technical challenges while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

What You'll Do

  • Architect, design, and develop RF hardware components including MMICs, amplifiers, filters, and oscillators.
  • Lead hardware efforts across various stages of the product lifecycle: R&D, design, qualification, and production.
  • Perform component and subsystem-level analysis, simulation, and trade studies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Integrate and test RF components in laboratory and production environments.
  • Develop and execute Design Verification Testing (DVT) and qualification testing, documenting results thoroughly.
  • Utilize electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS and ADS to model and simulate RF phenomena.
  • Oversee material delivery and hardware test execution, ensuring alignment with technical performance, cost, and schedule.
  • Provide technical management and oversight of suppliers, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.

Requirements

  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with RF hardware simulation, design, fabrication, integration, and testing.
  • Proficiency in using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in complex systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and managing engineering projects from conception through production.
  • Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools and analytical software such as Matlab.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for integration, test events, and customer meetings.
