Senior DevSecOps Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will provide complex technical support to enhance our DevSecOps capabilities and systems, ensuring the reliability and security of our software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring standardization and adoption across teams.
• Automate infrastructure management using tools like Terraform and Ansible to provision, configure, and manage cloud platforms.
• Identify and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors through scripting.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to track system performance and availability.
• Ensure security throughout the software development lifecycle by implementing best practices and tools.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, Application Security, Governance, and IT teams to enhance the overall delivery process.
• Manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support as part of a rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in software application development, or a High School Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably in GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Bash.
• Familiarity with major tech stacks in modern application development.
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms is a plus.
• Understanding of DevSecOps best practices and implementations.
• Ability to program in high-level languages such as Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript.

Nice to Have

• Experience with OpenShift and VM deployment automation.
• Exposure to cross-functional teams including App Security and Infrastructure.
